Wow, we can't believe it. It's that time of year again, our team is back, and we're out walking! And we're so excited that this is our new name: WOW.

We are a St. Norbert College Heath Services walking team. Winter is over folks! It's time to get off our duffs, put on the walking shoes, get our hearts pounding, move some blood through our veins, and rack up some steps! Teams from all over campus, made up of staff, faculty and students, are walking to welcome in a new spring season, maybe take off a pound or two and simply get back into exercise. We all have fun doing it, and the team with the most steps gets cool prizes (which is the real reason we're in it).

For the 2010 season, we've got a new walker. Kelly Krummel, who was on our team for two years, was a free agent this season and decided to sign with a different team. We're not bitter though. Fortunately for us, we picked up Kathy Ritter off the waiver wire. We believe this is going to be a significant improvement on our team, as Kathy's job on campus requires that she walks practically everywhere, every day. So, beginning Monday, February 15, 2010 and continuing for seven weeks through Sunday, April 4, 2010, we will keep track of all the steps we take each day, and record them here weekly. We'll see if any other team has the guts to post their steps for all the world to see.

So what's with the team name, WOW? Nothing really, just something we came up with. We're Out Walking!
